COUSIN® skippers on the Transat Cafe l’Or
The Transat Jacques Vabre,, the legendary double-handed ocean race, is evolving and becoming the Transat Café L’OR. Held every two years since 1993, it links the port of Le Havre to Fort-de-France in Martinique, covering a demanding course of more than 4,000 nautical miles. The 2025 edition, which will start on 26 October, will mark a new stage in its development with a new name, a premium partnership with the Café l’Or brand, and a clear ambition: to become a model of maritime excellence, ecological commitment and international visibility.
Once again this year, COUSIN® is the technical partner of numerous teams setting sail on this new Atlantic crossing.

New to COUSIN®’s technical partners, Nicolas d’Estais and his CAFE JOYEUX team will also be sailing with COUSIN® ropes on board. On a revamped IMOCA, he is already competing in the qualifying rounds for the next Vendée Globe.
