The COUSIN® group dedicates one of its manufacturing units to the extrusion of high-performance polymers used in racket sports.
Since 1981, it has been producing 100% French monofilament and multifilament strings, mainly for the Tecnifibre and Wilson brands.
The structure of the strings is calibrated to guarantee precision, tolerance, and playing comfort, with tight dimensional tolerances and excellent tensile stability.
COUSIN® processes enable fine optimization of mechanical properties: longitudinal rigidity, transverse elasticity, shock absorption, and resistance to breakage.
We have mastered two types of technology that enable us to manufacture the highest-performance ropes on the market: multifilament melt spinning and monofilament melt spinning.

Each production batch undergoes rigorous quality control: gauge measurement, dynamic testing, thermal stability, fatigue resistance. Thanks to state-of-the-art equipment and an integrated Research and Industrialization department, the formulations are tailored to the requirements of professional players and the specifications of major brands.
The biggest international players, such as Iga Swiatek and Daniil Medvedev, have won the latest Grand Slams with their Tecnifibre partner and COUSIN® strings.
