Technical laces

When it was founded, the COUSIN® group was known for weaving flat and round laces made from natural fibers.

Since then, the group has dedicated this part of its production to technical laces and cords for sports equipment, particularly trail running shoes. These laces are made from high-strength synthetic fibers (Dyneema®, braided polyester, reinforced polyamide, etc.) with or without a core.

Braiding produces a thin, lightweight cord that is resistant to abrasion.
A treatment can be applied to the braid to enhance its mechanical properties.
Tolerances are strict to ensure performance, durability, and low weight suitable for high-level sports..
